I am 60 years old and have been sewing since I was 5 years old because my brave mother let me use her sewing machine by putting phone books on the chair so I could reach. My mother Letty Larsen and her best friend Vivian Hembrough are to thank for teaching and giving me inspiration, and the courage to do it.

- I started out making Barbie clothes for myself and I made my first dress in 3rd grade and my first swimsuit at 12.
- I started my professional career at 19 making my first wedding dress for a friend’s daughter, and men’s wear at 24.
- I have upholstered boats and furniture, cushions and specialty pillows.
- I have created dozens of costumes, some of which will be available for rent through my shop come Halloween.
- I have made crib bedding and anything that goes along with that.
- I have designed bedroom decor and bedding for the Salt Lake Parade of Homes.
- I have a large selection of American Girl 18″ doll clothes, shoes, and purses along with Barbie clothing.
- I have made all types of window coverings.
- I have made specialty shower curtains and coordinating bathroom decor. Outdoor furniture cushions.
- I designed specialty pants for FBI/military use.
- I can do all types of sewing, especially things that other local alterations shops will not.
